| The Make-A-Wish Foundation® began with the purest of wishes - that of a small child. The delight of that boy with his wish come true was the inspiration of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. There are now 74 chapters nationally and 28 international affiliates.
Make-A-Wish Foundation of Missouri covers all 115 counties in Missouri along with Johnson, Wyandotte, Franklin, Leavenworth, Linn, and Miami county in Kansas. We have headquarters in St. Louis, with program centers in St. Louis, Kansas City and Springfield.
We are not limited to any one particular condition or group of conditions. We grant wishes to children with heart disease, lung disease, muscular dystrophy, leukemia, cancer, AIDS, etc.
